Crystal Coffin, CVT
Head Veterinary Technician
Since her childhood growing up in Moultonboro, NH, Crystal has had a special connection with animals. From an early age she knew it was her calling to work with them. Crystal has been in the veterinary field since 1997. She graduated from New Hampshire Community Technical College in 2003 with a degree in Veterinary Technology earning her certification. Crystal joined the Meadow Pond team in December, 2010 and is now one of our head technicians. She moved to Tamworth, NH in 2007 and shares her home with her husband Sean and son Mason. The four-legged members of the Coffin family are: Logan the Lab and Sophie, Colby and Moxie the cats.
Jeremy Thompson
Head Veterinary Technician
Jeremy, a native of Lake Bromoseen, VT grew up surrounded by animals, be they dogs, cats or chickens! A career in the veterinary field seemed a natural choice for Jeremy. Soon after moving to Gilford, NH in 2007, he joined the Meadow Pond team and is now one of our head technicians, skilled in surgical monitoring, patient care and client service. When not at work, Jeremy spends him time watching movies and hiking with his 4 year old son, Nathan and snuggling their cat Alvin.
Jackie Gerald
Office Manager
A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Jackie relocated to Moultonboro, NH in 2005. Fulfilling her lifelong dream of working with animals, Jackie joined the Meadow Pond team in 2006 as a veterinary assistant and was soon promoted to office manager. In her free time Jackie enjoys spending quality time with her two sons Colin, 7 and Ian, 9, as well as her Dogue de Bordeaux Bo and Berner mix Asher.
Olivia Taylor
Veterinary Technician/Receptionist
Before joining the Meadow Pond team in 2009, Olivia worked at the Lakes Region Humane Society caring for homeless animals. She shares her home with her husband Jeff, daughter Autumn and her gang of furry friends: Cannon the Mastiff (pictured above), Nya the Mastiff mix, Izzy the Chihuahua, Tigger, Denby, and Coral the cats, and not to forget Savannah, the family bunny!
Melinda Sturgeon
Receptionist
Melinda, a native of New Hampshire has fostered a deep respect and love for nature and animals from a young age. She joined the Meadow Pond family in the fall of 2009 excited to translate her talents and love for people and animals to her work. Melinda shares her spare time with her Chocolate Lab Coco, special friends, family, and of course golf!
Erin Skinner
Receptionist
Originally from Framingham, MA, Erin fell in love with Lake Winnipesaukee at an early age, spending her summers here growing up. Erin has always loved animals, especially dogs, and while working at a bookstore for 2 years, she voraciously read any book she could find on the subject. Her fascination with animals motivated Erin to apply as a kennel assistant in Ashland, MA and soon after she was promoted to Manager Intern of their sister location in Sudbury, MA. In summer of 2008, she left her position at the busy pet resort and salon when the opportunity arose to relocate to Tuftonboro, NH. She has been working in the veterinary field since the fall of 2008 and came on board at Meadow Pond in 2011. Besides reading, Erin's favorite thing to do is explore the beautiful outdoors with Tawnie and Hadley, her Golden Retrievers.
Kira Murphy
Veterinary Assistant
Raised in the Lakes Region, Kira graduated high school as an accomplished student and athlete. She went on to earn her Associates Degree in Applied Animal Science with an equine minor from the University of Connecticut in 2010. She started as a veterinary assistant at Meadow Pond in March of 2011. Kira is passionate about expanding her knowledge of, working with and caring for animals. Kira's best bud is Kolbi, her harlequin Great Dane.
Hayley Craig
Veterinary Assistant
Hayley's family has included four-legged members since childhood. Hayley has a special connection with horses and has been riding and caring for the majestic creatures since a young age. After managing a horse farm in Massachusetts for several years, Hayley moved to Wolfeboro, NH in the summer of 2011. She joined the Meadow Pond team in the fall of 2011, continuing to pursue her passion of working with animals. In Hayley's free time she enjoys outdoor activities including hockey, riding her horse, Fro (pictured above) and snowboarding.
